Women’s Choice Awards for Financial Advisors
Our founder Julia Carlson is a recipient of the Women’s Choice Award for Financial Advisors. This award showcases her commitment to providing exceptional service and care to our female clients. To be selected, Julia was evaluated using 17 objective criteria. In addition, our clients were surveyed and asked to provide feedback about her performance. This award symbolizes the integrity, knowledge and service excellence our firm strives to deliver to every client.

In 2014, Julia Carlson became an InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 honoree in the Trailblazer category. Julia was competing against nearly 1,200 other nominees for this national award, which recognized her as one of the top 40 emerging financial advisors in the country.

The Women’s Choice Award Financial Advisor Program is based on 17 objective criteria associated with providing quality service to women clients such as credentials, experience and a favorable regulatory history, among other factors. Financial advisors do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisors, though they may have paid a basic program fee to cover the cost of comprehensive review and client survey.
The “Top Wealth Adviser Moms” list, released by Working Mother magazine and SHOOK Research, is a ranking which measures the best practices of an adviser learned through telephone and in-person interviews, and considers such factors as their service models, investing process, revenue generated for their firms and assets under management.
The recipients of the 40 under 40 award are chosen by the editors of Investment News from a pool of nominees based on the criteria of accomplishment, contribution, leadership and promise.
The recipient of the Willamete Living Magazine "Best of the Valley" was based on reader favorites and editor choices.
